Officials: We are pleased to announce that Chris Dickinson has become a Grade 4 track official with effect from January 1st 2006. Chris gained her qualification on the basis of the experience of officiating at five matches during the summer of 2005. Anyone else wishing to become graded using this easy, non-exam method should contact Phil Thomas. London Marathon - Club Entries: Club members wishing to have one of the two club entries for the London Marathon should apply on the notice pinned on the notice board unless they have already made a verbal request to Phil Thomas to be considered. The criteria is as previous years which means anyone who has entered must have applied for and been rejected for direct entry into the marathon itself.   Sports Centre Opening. The Sports Centre will be open until midday on Saturday 24 December 2005 and will re-open on Tuesday 3 January 2006. The final club training night of 2005 will be Thursday 22 December and the first one of 2006 will be Tuesday 3 January. Of course, members can train over Christmas and there are competitions at Chester on Boxing Day and at Frodsham on 2 January. National Cross Country Championships:Parliament Hill 18 February. Administration this year will be carried out by Julia Hayes and John Irwin. John will be dealing with queries about transport and accommodation for the younger age groups. Julia Eccleston is organising the senior ladies and Ray Vose the senior men.
